Iran / Sistan and Baluchestan
Sistan and Baluchestan
In Spring 2019 we made a longer trip starting in the Hormozgan province and continuing through Sistan and Baluchestan province, up to Zahedan.
Sistan and Baluchestan is the second largest, and the poorest Iranian province, situated in the southeast of the country bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan. Sistan is the northern part and Baluchestan is the southern part of the province. The people are mostly Baluch and speak the Baluchi language. |
The orange line outlines or route on this trip: Flying from Tehran to Queshm, then following the coastal line from Bandar Abbas to Chabahar then moving North close to the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan to Zahedan. From Zahedan we visited Khajeh mountain and Ghale Now. In Zahedan or trip ended with a flight back to Tehran.
