With the Northern Line from Old Street to Highgate. Then walking over Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill to Hampstead. A cold but — after the rain and storm — pleasant morning. Click on photos to enlarge. Note the separator in the room. There are only few pubs left in London that kept the traditional architecture that was made to separate between »classes«: workers, families etc. The bar served both sides (although beer was often a bit cheaper for workers). Both sections had individual doors from the street.
Towards an excellent Sunday Roast at the Jugged Hare Pub. At a rather unlikely location too, on the corner of the Barbican.

First day, a stroll to bunhill cemetery in Islington. The name derives from »bone hill« and was a cemetery for non-conformists. click on photos to enlarge In November 2019 I spent again a week in London. It was cold and windy, but the autumn presented itself admirably. Obviously, I again spent a lot of time at Regent's canal and Little Venice.
