Notting Hill

Who wouldn't know Notting Hill? At least from the movie. And sure enough, Notting Hill is a charming place, as long as you avoid the Portobello Road Market on a Saturday.

Paddington

Paddington is known to most just as the railway station (remember Agatha Christie's 4.50 from Paddington) for the Heathrow Express and trains from Oxford.

But in fact the area is quite nice to visit in its own right and can be the end of a walk on Regent's Canal finishing at Little Venice.
