Columbia Road is nice but fairly unremarkable, except on Sundays when the flower market is open and attracts many customers, flee markets, music and pop-up cafés.
Continuing Columbia Road to the north, one crosses Regent's Canal and reaches Broadway Market, one of the London villages. |

Billingsgate Fish Market

Only on some days of the week you can visit the Billingsgate Fish Market in the docklands. Getting up very early is advisable to get a fresh look at the fish on display (pun intended).

A walk from Limehouse basin over Wapping, passing some of the old wharfs (like Phoenix Wharf) towards St. Katharine's Dock and Tower Bridge is one of the most peaceful and rewarding walks in London, even on busy days.
